So here I was , minding my own business on the internet when a thought suddenly crossed my mind. why is it that most-not all-parents think that the courses that you need to read like a maniac-no offence-are the only, and I quote "respectable honorable careers."I don't mean to point fingers or anything but take medicine for example, if you want to do this then you MUST have the passion and strong will. BTW, respect to all the doctors out there, we'd all be dead if it weren't for you...(-: But I just wish that parents could keep in mind that not everyone wants to go through the normal usual cycle of life-finish high school, get a degree, masters, then PHD and finally add a Dr. to your name. Some of us young people have totally different aspirations . Take me for example, I am all about fashion design, art and communication but my old folks want me to do medicine more than anything in the world. So here's the thing,my mum is on her way to Nairobi,Kenya.the weather is great,really perfect then all of a sudden,clouds,lighting and thunder.so the pilot says that they have to divert their flight and land in New Mexico.then came the worst part-landing.IT WAS HORRIBLE!the plane was being hit by the lightning,people were praying,to make it all worse,she was sitting next to a guy who hadpost-military stress.it was plain horror.BUT they made it.when the plane safely touched down and stopped,you would know that everyone was tensed coz they all clapped.then they were made to sit on the airport tarmac waiting for their flight to be rescheduled.it was quite an experience for her.but all in all....Iam glad she is still alive.thanks be to God.
