So here I was , minding my own business on the internet when a thought suddenly crossed my mind. why is it that most-not all-parents think that the courses that you need to read like a maniac-no offence-are the only, and I quote "respectable honorable careers."I don't mean to point fingers or anything but take medicine for example, if you want to do this then you MUST have the passion and strong will. BTW, respect to all the doctors out there, we'd all be dead if it weren't for you...(-:
But I just wish that parents could keep in mind that not everyone wants to go through the normal usual cycle of life-finish high school, get a degree, masters, then PHD and finally add a Dr. to your name. Some of us young people have totally different aspirations . Take me for example, I am all about fashion design, art and communication but my old folks want me to do medicine more than anything in the world. I suggest that you should tell your folks about what you want to do if you are caught in the same position as mine. Sure, they'll be disappointed but trust me, they will get over it. Maybe even be proud of you later in life.
IT'S YOUR LIFE. Do your passion and what you enjoy! Well, unless your passion is robbery, ha..ha. Let passion be your driving force. Trust me, you will succeed.
